Barack H. Obama Elementary Magnet School of Technology, located in south DeKalb County, is a multi-cultural technological school that provides students with a total education in the areas of academic, social, and emotional learning from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 5. Barack H. Obama Elementary Magnet School of Technology houses a Technology Magnet Program in grades 3 through 5. The faculty and staff consists of 60 teachers including a variety of specialists (Math, Music, Art, Reading Specialists,STEM/Science and a Media Specialist) and 19 paraprofessionals.
